A brief history of the blood counts

We’ve been gathering some paperwork together for some various things, and we’ve had a chance to compare some of the blood numbers over time. This is just to show where things stand over time. Normal ranges (as I understand them) are given in (parentheses) in the first column.

Type/Date Initial 6/23 7/5 7/11
Blasts: (Normal = 0) 5-6% 4% n/a 2%
Hemoglobin: (12.5-15.5%) 5.7 9.6 8.2 9.4
White Blood Cells: (4.4-11.3) n/a 5.2 2.4 5.4
Platelets: (145-445) n/a 143 98 120
Neutrophils: (37-77) n/a 39% n/a 28%
