We’ve talked with several people now who said that while Beth’s response to the transplant was somewhat difficult, it’s not at all uncommon. She’s been resting, and the nurses have been attending to her. It seems that simple Tylenol is being used to control the fever, and it’s working well. On the other hand, she’s been taking a bunch of other drugs for pain and nausea and antibiotics. Several tests are out in various labs, and we may find out some of the results of the “cultures” tomorrow, to rule out some common causes for the fever and infection.
