Beth woke up around 4:00 am, with a bit of a fever (39.3 C, or 102.8 F) — we called the nurse right away, who gave her some Demerol, which seems to have prevented the shakes (rigors). The fever seems to have gone back down (5:00 am), and she is now resting comfortably.
