Home to get the kids ready for school

I left Beth in the hospital around 6:10; she still had a slight fever, but she was receiving an antibiotic and her fever had come down a bit. She was still uncomfortable, but I hadn’t been home all day yesterday, and I need to check on the kids.

They’ve done a remarkably good job of things. The house was a little untidy, but only a little, and some dishes need to be washed. But otherwise, everyone seems to be eating well, and things are generally in good shape. I had gotten the Christmas tree out of the shed over the weekend (it’s a small one), and the kids got the lights and decorations out of the attic, and they put it up.

Once I get Dani up and situated (Nate takes care of her), I’ll shower and head back to the hospital.
